Tim Smith
Tim has a deep level of knowledge within music law, having worked for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Virgin and Universal.
His experience covers a wide range of activities, including advising on and negotiating rights, licences and royalty agreements, interpreting and analysing contracts, and overseeing litigation in the UK and Europe to protect and enforce rights.
Tim qualified as a solicitor in 1983. He sits on the UK Music Rights committee, where he represents the Featured Artists Coalition and the Music Managers Forum.
